COGDEN COTTAGES
Terms & Conditions:

All cheques to be made payable to: ‘Old Coastguard Holiday Park’. Please address all correspondence to: ‘Old Coastguard Holiday Park’ as there is another Cogden Cottage.

Reservations are accepted over the telephone when supported by a 1/3rd deposit to arrive no less than 7 days following telephone call. Otherwise, postal reservations, accompanied with a deposit. When the booking is to be no less than 5 weeks in advance. We will confirm reservation and advise on availability as soon as possible following receipt either by phone or post.

The remaining balance must be received no less than 28 days prior to the booking. Failure to do so will be deemed a cancellation of contract and will result in a loss of deposit.

Cancellations must be submitted by post or email to arrive no less than 28 days prior to a booking, for deposit to be returned.

On the first day of your stay the cottage will be available for occupation after 3:00pm. An earlier time may be possible, but cannot be guaranteed. If you intend to arrive after 6:00pm please phone to ensure someone can be available in the office.

On arrival please come to the office where we will be able to hand over the keys, show you to your cottage, and try to answer any questions you may have. There is a £50 security deposit (a cheque supported by a guarantee card is fine) payable when you collect the keys. When all is found to be satisfactory once you have vacated the cottage at the end of your stay we will return your deposit (cheque).

All cottages must be vacated and keys returned to the office by 10:00am on the day you are leaving. A later time may result in a charge for an additional nights stay.

We operate a ‘No Smoking’ policy inside all cottages.

Some pets are permitted but only with prior arrangement and an additional charge of £15 per animal per week, all dogs must be kept under proper control and on leads when in public areas e.g. The Caravan Park, car parks etc. All owners are responsible for cleaning up behind their dogs. We reserve the right to refuse entry to any pet.

All personal property brought onto ‘The Old Coastguard Holiday Park’ is at the owners risk. ‘The Old Coastguard Holiday Park’ is not liable for any loss or damage, unless proved to be as a result of negligence.
